About Casa Verde

Buenos Dias! Casa Verde was launched in the UK in January 2020.

As many of you will know, we sold Grand Illusions in 2012 but remained in place to grow and develop the brand. Eight years later, with huge growth in place and our role diminishing, it was time to change our course. We are, and always will be, incredibly proud of what we achieved there and of course, none of which would have been remotely possible without the loyal support of people like you dear reader.

In Summer 2018, we made the life-changing decision to go completely freelance and move to the island of Mallorca where we now live and work from what was a former Shepherd’s Hut in the mountains near Valldemossa. A tiny home but surrounded by nature in all it’s glory. This unique place gave us the courage and inspiration to consider starting again and to create a totally new collection from scratch based on so many of our favourite things.

The new project was all about new collaborations. The lovely Linda Lowen, who many of you know from the shows and her own company, A G Lifestyle, joined our new venture as a partner. And for the UK we are privileged to be working in association with David and Lindsey Jones of Terrace and Garden who are our exclusive distributor and so much more.

Like everyone at the beginning of 2020, little did we know what an extraordinary journey we were all about to experience. However, we are forever grateful to have survived and indeed thrived and the new project is bigger and bolder than we could ever have imagined.. And as we said above, this is all thanks to people like you – so thank you.
